Advanced MELT: NeuroFitness for Efficient Movement @ Evolve Movement

June 24, 2016 @ 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm

  • « MELT with Yoga
  • Extra SMART Rolling @ My Studio »
In my “MELT and More” classes, I have introduced techniques to rebalance and rehydrate connective tissue. I use MELT techniques and other related modalities. This advanced class builds on those techniques. They are mainly MELT NeuroStrength techniques designed to simulate therapeutic techniques to address compensatory patterns for the shoulder girdle, the hip and the core muscles.

What’s truly unique about the techniques is that they reintegrate proper muscle timing and then maintains that newfound stabilization during the subsequent repatterning of movement. Repatterning without reintegrating first only yields a stronger compensatory pattern. Adding these advanced techniques to length and rehydration techniques for fascia yields stable and efficient movements necessary for an active, pain-free lifestyle.

This class is more challenging than the “MELT and More” class and may not be suitable for a novice exerciser. While there are no pre-requisites for this class, a knowledge of MELT Length techniques is of advantage.
