This workshop combines several self-treatment techniques for connective tissue, also referred to as fascia.

One workshop component is MELT which stands for Myofascial Energetic Length Technique, and which was one of the first self-treatment methods. MELT has elements of several techniques such as reflexology, lymph drainage, trigger points and myofascial release in its use of balls and rollers for a structured self-application. Another component is ‘Relief through Rolling’ which derives from Rolfing. The techniques used in this class elicit adaptive changes in the body to improve posture and well-being. It is a mind-body modality as it constantly invites the user to assess and re-assess in order to evaluate the results of its application.

Through a series of easy, precise techniques using a unique soft body roller and small, specialized balls, this program rehydrates connective tissue and allows the body to release long-held tension. This tension is created by the repetitive motions and postures of daily living and is the true cause of many common aches, pains, and chronic symptoms. It also calms the nervous system and boosts the body’s natural healing and repair mechanism.

This workshop is appropriate for all levels of practitioners, no experience necessary.

$25. Register two weeks in advance for $5 dollars off! 24-hour advance cancellation honored.
